Einar Stefánsson is a versatile Icelandic/Norwegian bass-baritone. Having studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in the UK, he is currently based in Oslo where he recently finished his studies at the Opera School of the National Academy of the Arts.
Einar has been a member of the Young Artist Programmes at Opera Holland Park, Buxton International Festival and Bergen National Opera. Along the core operatic repertoire, Einar has developed a particular interest in contemporary and experimental music as well as projects concerning social issues.
